We use good quality gender-neutral wrapping paper. As a default, all orders placed in November and December are wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper, and all orders placed in other months are wrapped using a non-Christmas paper (eg for a birthday). If you prefer birthday paper in the run up to Christmas or Christmas paper at other times of the year, you can request this in the Special Requirements box on the Basket page.

Botley is a fun educational toy that engages children as young as 5 in a basic form of coding, using step coding and logic. Encouraging early programming skills will develop critical thinking and problem solving in young learners. Children can easily program Botley to perform a variety of actions:

Move forward (one step at a time)
Turn left and right
Reverse (one step at a time)
Detect and avoid objects
Make sounds
Loop, to repeat a step or sequence

A brilliant, fun robot that children can learn to program with up to 80 steps in one sequence! Once a sequence has been programmed press transmit and watch Botley move! One “step” is approximately 20cm. You can introduce smart logic too, with the object detection feature, so he has to detect and move around obstacles.

Botley features LED lights on the top that show the direction of each step and has a sensor underneath to allow Botley to follow a black line!
